Case Study Summary
One brand, three different activation environments
Pixel Booth supported PUMA across three separate activations, each with a different event goal, venue style and creative direction. The photo booth setup was adapted each time to suit the campaign environment.
The first activation was a streetwear-inspired H-Street shoe launch at Le Bajo Milk Bar, where PUMA brought in influencers and ambassadors who used the Instant Social feature to download their photos straight away for social media. The second was a PUMA x McLaren Ignition Beach activation at West Beach Pavilion. The third was a branded head office relocation party celebrating PUMA’s move from Moorabbin to Cremorne.
Together, these activations show how a branded photo booth can be shaped around product launches, influencer moments, lifestyle events, motorsport campaigns and internal brand celebrations.
The Brief
Create photo booth experiences that felt built for PUMA
The goal was not to place a generic photo booth in the corner. Each event needed a booth setup that looked connected to the campaign, gave guests something fun to interact with and created branded photo content they could use or take home.
For the H-Street launch, social speed mattered because PUMA’s influencers and ambassadors needed fast access to their photos for social posting. Across the three events, Pixel Booth used branded booth wraps, custom PUMA props, campaign-specific backdrops, printed photo strips and instant digital sharing to help the booth feel like part of the wider event environment.

The Three Activations
Three different ways PUMA used photo booth activations
Each event had a different purpose, audience and visual style. The photo booth was adapted to fit the venue, brand environment and guest experience.
Activation 01
PUMA H-Street Shoe Launch
For the H-Street shoe launch, PUMA created a streetwear-style event environment with venue branding, a DJ and a branded gelato cart. Pixel Booth supported the launch with a booth wrapped in green H-Street and PUMA branding.
PUMA brought in influencers and ambassadors for the launch, so the photo booth needed to do more than print photos. Guests used the Instant Social feature to download their images straight away, giving them fast access to branded content they could post during or after the event.
The venue’s silver roller gate was used as the backdrop, giving the photo experience a raw, street-style look that suited the H-Street launch aesthetic.

Activation 02
PUMA x McLaren Ignition Beach
For the Ignition Beach activation, PUMA brought Pixel Booth in to create a branded photo booth experience for the PUMA x McLaren F1 event at West Beach Pavilion.
The setup included a branded booth wrap, a wrapped wall backdrop featuring Lando and Oscar, custom PUMA props and a branded surfboard to suit the St Kilda beach atmosphere. The wider event included a show F1 car, racing simulators and PUMA x McLaren event decor.

Activation 03
PUMA Head Office Relocation Party
For PUMA’s relocation party, Pixel Booth created a branded photo booth setup to support the celebration of their move from Moorabbin to Cremorne.
This activation was less about public product launch marketing and more about internal brand culture, staff engagement and creating a polished celebration moment for the new head office.
